Aims and Objectives

Digital Law and Innovation/ Raqamli huquq va innovatsiya is an academic peer-reviewed electronic journal dedicated to exploring the theoretical and practical challenges of regulating the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and emerging innovative technologies.

The journal aims to establish a professional scientific and practical platform for adapting national and international legal systems to the era of digital transformation while ensuring the protection of human rights and intellectual property in the digital environment.

Objectives

The journal pursues the following key objectives:

  1. To publish fundamental and applied research on the legal status and regulation of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, smart contracts, crypto-assets, and Big Data.
  2. To identify gaps in national legislation in the fields of digital economy, e-commerce, and cybersecurity, and to develop scientifically grounded recommendations for legislative improvement.
  3. To conduct comparative legal analysis of advanced international standards and foreign best practices—such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)—and to assess their potential implementation within the legal system of Uzbekistan.
  4. To support innovation in LegalTech, FinTech, and RegTech, providing legal analysis and regulatory insights that contribute to the development of a sustainable startup ecosystem.
  5. To promote digital literacy and digital legal culture, raising public awareness about personal data protection and digital rights in the modern information society.
