Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and practical
foundations of the green economy and its role in ensuring
sustainable economic development and environmental
protection. Global environmental challenges, climate change,
depletion of natural resources, and energy security issues
have increased the importance of the green economy concept.
The study analyzes the main principles of green economy,
including renewable energy development, efficient resource
management, energy-saving technologies, and reduction of
carbon emissions. In addition, reforms implemented in
Uzbekistan to promote green economic development and
future priorities are discussed. The findings indicate that the
green economy is an important factor for achieving economic
growth, environmental sustainability, and social welfare.
