Aim of the Journal

The journal aims to create a professional scientific and practical platform for developing legal frameworks that support sustainable development, environmental protection, and rational land use, while addressing global ecological challenges such as climate change and desertification. The journal also focuses on providing scientifically grounded theoretical and practical solutions for the regulation of land relations at national and international levels.

Key Objectives

1.     Land Rights and Management: To publish fundamental and applied research on land ownership, land fund management, and the improvement of cadastral systems.

2.     Environmental Law and Climate Challenges: To investigate legal issues related to climate change, biodiversity conservation, water resources management, and the development of “green” energy sectors.

3.     National Legal Gaps and Harmonization: To identify gaps in Uzbekistan’s Land Code and environmental legislation and propose scientifically informed recommendations for aligning national law with international standards.

4.     Comparative and International Practice: To study advanced foreign legal practices and international conventions, including the Paris Agreement, and explore their implementation within Uzbekistan’s legal framework.

5.     Digital Technologies in Land and Environmental Management: To analyze the legal aspects of applying digital technologies, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), E-Land, and E-Cadastre, as well as innovative methods for environmental monitoring in land management.
