Abstract

This article examines the legal foundations governing cooperation between state environmental control bodies and judicial bodies in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the process of detecting, adjudicating and remedying environmental offences. It comparatively analyses the mechanisms through which inspection findings, monitoring data and administrative acts of environmental control bodies acquire procedural and evidentiary significance before economic, civil and administrative courts, drawing on European experience of judicial cooperation in environmental matters and the model of specialised environmental adjudication. The study employs formal-legal, comparative-legal and systemic-functional methods.
